Pacom Systems Receives GSA Certification
Friday, 24th February 2006
Pacom Systems has received certification from the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) to offer its security products and solutions to all federal, state and local government agencies. The certification is part of a five-year contract with Reliance Technologies that will create many partnership opportunities for security companies who are interested in bidding on government contracts. A GSA Schedule ranking makes it much easier for companies to do business with the government and also establishes procedures for government agencies to evaluate, acquire, and implement security solutions in a more efficient and cost effective manner. There is a real demand for new security technology and the GSA plays a major role in introducing those technologies to interested government parties. "The GSA certification is an important step in getting your company's name in front of government agencies that are interested in new security technologies," said Andrew Minnikin, President of Pacom Systems North America. "Pacom's industry reputation for reliability and performance should make our products and security solutions very attractive to all types of government agencies." "Reliance is working to introduce several initiatives that offer our government customers timely and relevant solutions, competitive pricing, flexibility and ease of acquisition," said Craig Lawson, Principal, Reliance Technologies, Inc. "We are very pleased to partner with such well established companies such as Pacom Systems and to include their products and solutions in our security sales portfolio."
