Pacom keypads provide a local alarm system user interface compatible with all Pacom Controllers, over RS485 multi-drop device line. They can manage up to eight individual alarm areas and can be used to view the status of up to 32 alarm areas within a site. They feature entry keys, LEDs for alarm area status and a backlit LCD with adjustable contrast.
Keypads can be configured for access control to a single door/access point, with user PINs required for access. They can also be used for various alarm system settings. They also feature automatic baud-detect for fast setup, power-save mode, built-in tamper switch and programmable buzzer frequency.
The 8101R features two on-board alarm inputs, four control outputs and serial data connections for associated I/O devices. They can also interface with RF proximity card readers for use as an access control device.

The 1062R-HID features an in-built HID RF proximity reader and antenna. To gain access to a door controlled by the 1062R-HID, users place their card in the vicinity of the LCD to be read. It is possible to also configure the alarm system to change operating mode operation on card swipe. The reader is compatible with all HID proximity card formats.
