Elevator Interfaces
Every Pacom Controller is capable of interfacing with the following elevator management systems (EMS):
- EPL Kone.
- OTIS.
The Controller communicates directly with the EMS via RS232 and supports up to 64 elevators and up to 128 floors.
Example:
When a user enters an elevator and presents their card at the card reader, the system verifies the user and allows them to select from their permitted floors only. The floor request is then sent to the EMS. The floor destination can be reported to Pacom GMS software. The current floor position can also be reported using Pacom's range of elevator floor monitoring (EFM) devices.
