1064 single door controller
The 1064 is an interface between the Controller and a single third-party card reader device and door. It includes four input and two output connections for door control, card reader LED and buzzer control and alarm reporting. It communicates with the Controller over an RS485 multi-drop device loop.
The 1064 features on-board memory that can be configured for "degraded mode" operation, in that the device stores details of the last 256 valid access cards and/or facility codes used (based on the 26-bit Wiegand format), enabling it to operate at a limited level when offline to the Controller.
Due to the input/output capability, the 1064 can also be used as an input/output expansion device when connected to a Pacom Controller - in "I/O" mode, the device supports up to six inputs (4 x EOL monitored and 2 x open collector) and four outputs.
1076 two-door controller
The 1076 is an interface between the Controller and up to two third-party card reader devices (each can be a different type as they operate independently) and doors. It includes eight input and four output connections for door control, card reader LED and buzzer control and alarm reporting. It communicates with the Controller over an RS485 multi-drop device loop.
The 1076 features on-board memory that can be configured for "degraded mode" operation, in that the device stores details of the last 1000 valid access cards and/or facility codes used (based on the 26-bit Wiegand format), enabling it to operate at a limited level when offline to the Controller.
Due to the input/output capability, the 1076 can also be used as an input/output expansion device when connected to a Pacom Controller - in "I/O" mode, the device supports up to eight inputs and four outputs.
Multi-card format
Pacom door controllers (1064, 1076) and 8101 keypad have the capability to simultaneously support multiple card formats. Up to five different Wiegand card formats can be supported on a single reader at the same time.
